Following B.C.’s Restart plan guidelines at public meetings, expanded in-person attendance at Parksville council meetings is available to the public again.
Residents can still choose to watch virtually through the city’s website at www.parksville.ca.
Aligned with public health order restrictions, the maximum number of residents who can be accommodated in the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre for a council meeting is 40, with 10 spaces allocated to council and support staff.

To keep everyone safe, the city asks members of the public to consider these points when attending a council meeting; do not attend in-person unless fully vaccinated; masks are mandatory at all times while in the building; the public must remain seated when in attendance at council meetings; and are asked to stay home or watch virtually if sick or feeling ill.
Council meetings are web-streamed live and archived from the city’s website with highlights of council meetings posted online following the meeting.
Meeting agendas can also be found on the city’s website. Comments related to the agenda can be submitted by calling 250-954-3060, or by emailing council@parksville.ca, by 9 a.m. on meeting day.
Council meetings will be held on the first and third Monday of each month, starting at 1 pm.
