Amateur teams were on Parksville beach for their turn in the Quality Foods Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition Saturday. The professional works are on display at Parksville Community Park until Aug. 18 and are open for viewing each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
