Areas F and G residents set to vote for Regional District of Nanaimo directors

Only Area F and G residents in the District 69 region of the Regional District of Nanaimo will cast ballots on Oct. 15.

Area F, which encompasses Coombs, Hilliers, Errington, Whiskey Creek, Meadowood, has two candidates vying for the position of RDN director, Leanne Salter and Kevin Goldfuss.

For this area, a second advance voting day has been scheduled to take place Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Oceanside Place Arena, 830 West Island Highway, Parkville and at the RDN Administration Office, 6300 Hammond Bay Road Nanaimo.

And on general voting day on Oct. 15, Area F residents can cast a ballot at the Bradley Centre and Lighthouse Community Centre on 240 Lions Way, Qualicum Beach.

In Area G, which includes Englishman River, San Pareil, French Creek, Little Qualicum, Dashwood, residents will be looking to choose between Lehann Wallace and Doug Kitts.

Another advance voting day has been scheduled to take place Oct. 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Oceanside Place Arena, 830 West Island Highway, Parkville and at the RDN administration office, 6300 Hammond Bay Rd. in Nanaimo.

On general voting day, Oct. 15, Area G residents can vote at St. Columba Presbyterian Church Hall, 921 Wembley Rd., Parksville from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
