Parksville city council has authorized legal action against a property owner through a motion passed Oct. 3 after an in-camera session. The motion came to light this week as part of the minutes of the Oct. 3 meeting. The motion read as follows:
"That council rise and report to advise of the authorization of legal action against the owners of 811 Wright Road in the B.C. Supreme Court seeking an order that the owners comply with the city's development permit requirements, which may include an order for restoration of the property to its natural state, to commence if a complete development permit application is not received by the director of community planning by 4 p.m. on October 21,2016."
