Oceanside RCMP received 215 complaints the week of May 8 to May 14.
Some of the incidents included:
May 8
• Three bags of recycled bottles were reported stolen by two males climbing a fence in the 600 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville.
• A call from the public resulted in an unregistered vehicle being towed and plates seized in the 100 block of Allsbrook Road, Parksville.
• A male trespasser was reported in the 500 block of Crescent Road, Qualicum Beach.
• Four trespassers were reported in the 100 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, going through a secured dumpster.
May 9
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Smithers Road, Parksville. Vehicle was recovered in Nanaimo the same day.
• A counterfeit Canadian $100 bill, serial number EJC8214518, was reported received by a business in the 200 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
• A teal colour Brodie ladies’ cruiser bicycle was reported stolen in the 500 block of Wembley Road, Parksville.
• B.C. trailer plate WMX31B was reported stolen in the 6900 block of Island Highway West, Bowser.

May 10
• Money, a Mammut Hiking backpack and size 10.5 Bauer inline road hockey skates were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Moilliet Street north, Parksville.
May 11
• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Island Highway East and Dawson Road, Nanoose Bay.
• A business compound break-and-enter was reported in 1000 block of Herring Gull Way, Parksville. Damages noted to fencing in two places.
• B.C. trailer plate WMC13N was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Industrial Way, Parksville.
May 12
• B.C. vehicle plate MG922A was reported stolen in the first block of Ballenas Place, Parksville.
• A trespasser was reported in the 600 block of Doehle Road, Parksville.
May 13
• A trailer hitch, cable for a downrigger and a knife were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Temple Street, Parksville, on May 13.
• B.C. trailer plate 88664J was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Lawson Place, Parksville.
May 14
• B.C. vehicle plate NR158X was reported missing in the 400 block of Young street, Parksville.
