There were no injuries in a single vehicle accident near Qualicum Beach around 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, March 22.
A Dodge Durango driven by a 32-year-old Port Alberni woman hit the concrete barrier exiting the Inland Highway onto Highway 4 heading west, reported Corporal Richard van de Pol of the Oceanside RCMP.
There was significant damage to the vehicle but the driver and passengers were unharmed.
The driver was issued a ticket for driving too fast for the wet conditions and Van de Pol reminds people to slow down and drive for the current road conditions.
