Here's a list of the voting places and times for the civic election throughout the Parksville Qualicum Beach region:
Qualicum Beach: The Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, 747 Jones Street, Qualicum Beach is designated as the Voting Place for General Voting Day (Saturday, Nov. 15). Voting is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each voting day.
Parksville: General voting day is set for Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Parksville Community and Conference Centre (PCCC) and the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church.
Regional District of Nanaimo Area E (Nanoose Bay): On general election day, Saturday, Nov. 15, voting will take place at Nanoose Place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Regional District of Nanaimo Area F (Coombs/Errington): On general election day, Saturday, Nov. 15, voting will take place at both the Coombs Rodeo Grounds and the Lighthouse Community Centre from
8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Regional District of Nanaimo Area H (Bowser/Deep Bay/Qualicum Bay): On general election day, Saturday, Nov. 15, voting will take place at the Lighthouse Community Centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Your ballot at all of the polling stations will also include a choice for School District 69 trustees, if there is an election in your area (candidates ran unopposed and were acclaimed in Nanoose Bay and Bowser/Deep Bay).
In Area G (French Creek), Joe Stanhope has been acclaimed as the RDN rep, but voters can vote in the school district election for that area at the PCCC.
