Experts will be on hand to answer any questions about health issues

Health care experts and those interested in their services are gearing up for the 17th annual Oceanside Family Health and Wellness Fair on March 31.

This year, the premier health fair in the mid-Island will feature seminars with four local doctors, reports Lisa Leger, one of the organizers.

The free one day extravaganza will be full of the exhibitors, community groups, health information, demonstrations, food and fun that people have come to expect, along with seminars that will further enlighten people on important topics.

Local family physicians Hugh Fletcher (10:30 a.m.) and Clair Biglow (1 p.m.) will host separate Talk to the Doctor sessions answering questions about everything from local health care issues to general medical care.

Medical specialist John Cline will do a seminar on cancer prevention at 11:30 a.m. focused on his work with the International Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology and the Oceanside Functional Medicine Research Institute on the toxic substances that permeate our lives.

At 2:30 naturopathic physician Doug Kuramoto will discuss the benefits of treating individual patients with natural medicine.

There are other seminars on laughter yoga, arthritis, body/mind healing and an appearance by sex and intimacy coach Kim Switnicki on how to boost your libido.
