Parksville residents and summer visitors alike seem to be be having themselves and having a good time during the summer beach festival activities at the waterfront, say police.
Oceanside RCMP Corporal Jesse Foreman said overall behaviour seems to be good, with few incidents requiring police intervention.
“Things have been going well,” he said, noting the beach has seen foot and bike patrols, as well as the usual vehicle passes through the area.
“People seem to be getting it and just going down and having a good time, which is what we want to see,” he said.
