HALF-TIME CONTEST: Super Bowl Sunday at the Rod & Gun in Parksville featured a half-time Glutton Bowl contest. Bartender Shanon Vinton won by devouring five hot dogs in three minutes. Five participants forced the dogs down their gullet, including Mike Norman and Lisa Moreggo (above). To the delight of the packed house, the Seattle Seahawks won the game 43-8.
