Kayaker dies in Cameron River

Man was trapped under a log after his kayak tipped over

A 26-year-old Nanaimo man is dead after tipping his kayak in the Cameron River near Mt. Arrowsmith Tuesday. While on the river with a friend, his kayak reportedly tipped and the man was trapped under a log. His body was recovered Wednesday.
