Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident on the Island Highway close to the intersection with Northwest Bay Road.
No criminality is related to the collision and traffic is flowing as of 9:30 a.m. on July 27, according to Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP.
Police, Nanoose Volunteer Fire Department, BC Ambulance and tow trucks were on scene.
RCMP are in the process of clearing the crash area, Worth said.
