Power has been restored to most homes in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area following a lengthy outage on Sunday, April 10.
The BC Hydro online outage map currently shows one outage within Parksville.
According to the map, the outage is limited to the 300 block of Allsbrook Rd and affects more than than five customers in the area. The website also indicates power has been down since 9:51 a.m. Monday (April 11) morning.

Crews are currently on-site and the outage is under investigation. BC Hydro’s online map provides an update approximately every 10 minutes.
