Oceanside RCMP Victim Services hosting information sessions

Sessions set for May 17, May 18 and May 19

Oceanside RCMP Victim Services hopes to raise local awareness about issues facing victims of crime and the services and laws in place to help them and their families.

Three free information sessions are scheduled for May 17 at Sources Oceanside Resource Centre (198 Morison Ave., Parksville), May 18 at Society of Organized Services (245 Hirst Ave., Parksville) and May 19 at Parksville Family Place (494 Bay Ave., Parksville).

The sessions, part of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week in Canada, will run from 10 a.m. to noon. People who attend will receive a free copy of their agenda book listing relevant dates, events and community resources information, according to a news release by Oceanside RCMP.
