Parksville residents have the chance to sit down with mayor Ed Mayne during ‘Coffee with the Mayor’ this summer.
The first event will be on July 9, the second on July 23. They’ll be held in the courtyard at the Parksville Museum, regardless of weather, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The idea is that residents can talk to the mayor about subjects that matter to them.
“The casual atmosphere at the museum along with a coffee are a perfect combination to exchange ideas while supporting the city’s ongoing efforts to engage and connect directly with our residents and businesses. I look forward to once again hearing from residents which provides me with a level of perspective to make better policy decisions for the city,” said Mayne in a release.
