Police seek identity of park flasher

Man reportedly seen naked at Little Qualicum Falls Regional Park

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding out the identity of a suspected flasher.

Oceanside RCMP Corporal Jesse Foreman said the request stems from an incident at Little Qualicum Falls Park on Tuesday, August 6.

“A woman was hiking with her dogs at Little Qualicum Falls Park at 9:45 a.m., when she spotted a male masturbating in the open and in plain view,” Foreman reported. “When she yelled at the man to stop he did so.”

The suspect is described as a 45 to 50-year-old, Caucasian male, six feet tall with a heavy build and longer dark curly hair. He was wearing a blue tank top and black shorts. The police conducted extensive patrols of the area. However, the suspect was not located. Anyone with information about this suspect, call the RCMP at 250-248-6111.
