The Crown and Anchor Pub in Qualicum Bay has been given the go ahead to develop a 30-site recreational vehicle park behind the property.
A public hearing was held back in March of this year and after no objections (only one person attended) the amendment bylaws were approved at the Regional District of Nanaimo and the lands re-designated and rezoned where needed.
Owners of the property were not available at press time but an employee at the pub stated the Crown and Anchor Campground would likely not be complete until next season.
