Qualicum School District makes some administrative changes

Principals and vice-principals on the move ion Parksville Qualicum Beach

Several schools in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area will see administrative staff changes in the 2015/16 year, said a press release from School District 69 (Qualicum).

Marsha Dawley, formerly vice-principal of Qualicum Beach Elementary School, will take over the position of principal at Errington Elementary School. Also, Brian Worthen will move from active vice-principal to vice-principal of EES.

Lori Marshall will move from her position of Springwood Elementary School vice-principal to that of principal at Kwalikum Secondary School. Marshall will replace Jesse Witte, who will become the district principal of alternative programs, based in Winchelsea Place.

Similarly, Lesley Rowan, formerly vice-principal of summer programs and a teacher at CEAP, will replace Don Bold as vice-principal of KSS. Bold will move into the position of principal of distributed learning (CEAP) and take special responsibility for implementation of My Education BC.

The release also said that the district will seek to fill vacancies at False Bay, Qualicum Beach Elementary and Springwood Elementary schools.
