Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, marks Health Care Assistant Day in B.C., and Parksville residents are encouraged to show their support for health care workers.

Event organizer, Duane Round, would like residents to show their support for those ‘who work very hard to provide such a valuable service to the residents of Parksville Qualicum Beach.’

According to Round, those interested can meet at the Springwood Park on Despard Avenue on Oct. 18 at 3:30 p.m., where they will then march respectively past the Trillium Lodge towards the Oceanside Health Centre.

Attendees are asked to bring signs with uplifting messages of appreciation but asked not to bring pots and pans to keep noise disturbance to a minimum.
