NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING

A development application has been submitted to the Town of Qualicum Beach for the property located at 127 and 141 Fifth Avenue East. You are invited to join PRISM LAND SURVEYING LTD., (the “Applicant”) at a meeting to discuss the application.

Date: Monday, November 20, 2023

Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Location of Meeting: Rotary House, 211 Fern Road West, Qualicum Beach

The meeting will begin with a formal presentation at 4pm by the Applicant.

The legal description of the property is:

Lot 1 District Lot 78 Newcastle District Plan 33368

The application is being made to amend the zoning from Residential 13 (R13) to Comprehensive Development Zone 21 (CD21) in order to facilitate a 2-lot subdivision so that the existing buildings are each allocated to a separate title. The two existing buildings will remain and will continue to be rentals.

The meeting is being held by the Applicant in compliance with Town of Qualicum Beach Policy. The Applicant will present details of the application and proposed development, receive input from members of the community, and respond to questions. This is not a Public Hearing required by legislation. Council will receive a report from staff relating issues raised at the meeting and will formally consider the application at a later date.
