In accordance with S. 124(3) of the Community Charter, the Council of the City of Parksville hereby gives notice of the intent
to amend the existing “City of Parksville Procedure Bylaw, 2018, No. 1541”.
The proposed amendment is to alter the form of address for the chairperson from “Your Worship” to “Chair” or “Mayor”.
A copy of the draft bylaw is available on the City’s website or from the City administration department.
Anyone who wishes to provide input on the proposed changes may submit comments in writing addressed to the Mayor and
Council:

Submissions may also be submitted to administration@parksville.ca or hand delivered to the City administration
department at the Parksville Civic and Technology Center, 100 Jensen Avenue East.
Submissions will be accepted until 4 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023.
