BROWN, Allan Barrie

April 21, 1925 – May 17, 2006

Brownie passed away peacefully at home. Born in Leask, Saskatchewan, Brownie joined the Royal Canadian Navy at 18 years of age. He joined the RCMP Marine Division retiring as a Sergeant from New West Sub Division in 1965. He moved to Prince Rupert where he worked for Skeena River Timber and Prince Rupert Fisherman’s Co-op. 1986 he retired to Qualicum Beach with his loving wife, Isabel.

Predeceased by his wife Isabel in 1995, he then came to Langley and lived with his son, Neil (Kathy). Lovingly remembered by his sons Robert (Susan), Neil (Kathy), Bruce, sister Janet (Bill) Beebe, Brother “Mac”, special niece Lynn (Reg) Chase and his 4 grandchildren, Barrie, Krista, Christina and Jessie Brown.

No service by request. Grave side ceremony later this summer in Price Rupert.

Flowers gratefully declined. Brownie’s favorite charities are Canuck Place and BC Heart and Stroke Association.
