It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Scoot. With incredible strength and dignity, he courageously battled the ravages of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Scoot passed peacefully on March 1, 2022, at the age of 69 with his adoring wife, Kathy, by his side.
Predeceased by his parents, Andre and Margaret. He is deeply missed by his loving children, Stephanie (Randy), Kelsey (Bronte), Angela (Elis), six treasured grandchildren, brother John (Wendy), sister Barbara, step-mother Marnie, mother-in-law Peggy, nieces, Nicole and Kristin (Ryan).
Logging was in Scoot's blood from a very young age, so it's not surprising that he dedicated his life's work to Borer Logging, the family business. Working tirelessly along side his Dad and Brother, Scoot was instrumental in making it a successful company for many years before his retirement.
After retirement extra time with his pet buddies, Sophie and Abby, brought him much joy, as well as the RV life, travelling, hiking, fishing, and gardening.
Scoot will be lovingly remembered as kind, devoted and supportive, and absolutely cherished his time with family and friends. He had an infectious and engaging laugh and loved time spent exchanging stories and reminiscing. Always there with his glorious smile and a helping hand. He was truly one in a million and will be missed more than words can express.
