On October 9, Anna Fowler passed away in Parksville. Born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1918, Anna spent most of her adult life in BC and had lived in the Qualicum Beach area since 1970.
Anna is predeceased by Alex, her husband of 55 years and all of her 5 siblings. Told early in her life that she would likely not live long, she lived life of moderation that took her into her 95th year.
Anna is survived by two sisters-in –law, (Elva Branter and Eleanor Branter), and many nieces and nephews. Her sharp wit and wonderful sense of humour endeared her to all who knew her.
She will be missed and long remembered.
The family thanks all of the staff of Hawthorne Place in Qualicum Beach for all of the care and attention that Anna received in her 6 years as a resident there.
