1922-2009

Tony passed away peacefully on July 21, 2009.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Johanna, son Tony (Tammie) and grandchildren Megan and Hailey.

He was pre-deceased by his brother John during WW2 and his son Richard in 1964.

Tony was born in Alexandria, Egypt. As a young man, he joined the British Merchant Navy and served for 5 years during WW2. He immigrated to Victoria, B.C. in 1951.

He worked as a Chef at the Royal Jubilee Hospital for 35 years and then enjoyed his retirement in Qualicum Beach.

The family wishes to thank Dr. S. Noble and the caregivers of Glenview at Stanford Place for their kind and compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on

Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009 from 2 to 5 pm at

Tony and Johanna’s home.
