KLASSEN, BERNHARD (Bernie)
June 8, 1932 – August 22, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce that Bernie died on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Eagle Park Care Health Facility.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Hildegard of 60 years, daughter Bonnie, son Brian, grandchildren Carla, Amanda, Tamara, Devon (Sruna) Meriah & Dallas; eight great grandchildren, sister Frieda, brothers Vic (Bev), Abe (Betty) and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Bernie was a brick mason/artisan and his brick and block buildings are still standing in Abbotsford and Mission. Many homes have new fireplaces, which he proudly designed. His biggest loves were fishing, golfing, growing dahlias and camping with the grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pebble Beach Complex, 529 Johnstone Rd., Parksville, BC on September 14 at 1:30 PM.
