Betty was born on March 15, 1925 in Menston, England. Passed away peacefully on June 26, 2009
She came to Canada to marry Neil MacPherson in January of 1947 and they enjoyed a nearly 50 year marriage before his death in December 1996.
She is survived by daughters Brenda Perry (Jim) and grandson Michael Perry (Angela) of Calgary, AB. and Susan Alexander of Parksville, granddaughter Kyley Alexander Mohrenberger (Andrew) and grandson Kevin Alexander of Edmonton, AB. Also her only sibling, Keith Crowe and wife Edna of Ottawa, ON.
A Memorial is planned for Saturday,
July 18 at 3:00 pm at the
Yates Funeral Home,
1000 Allsbrook Rd, Parksville
