1954-2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and
unexpected passing of Carol Anne Richardson on December 19, 2012.
Carol was born in Hamilton, Ontario January 28, 1954. She studied nursing at the University of
Toronto and moved to Hilliers, BC with her family
in 1989. Carol devoted her life to the service of
others. Professionally she was the Executive
Director of Forward House in Parksville, BC for the last 23 years. Personally she was dedicated to her beloved family (including the four legged ones).
Carol is predeceased by her parents Jane Annette Stevens and Donald Ward Richardson. She is
survived by her soul mate Gerard Klomp, her dauther
Erin Morrissey (Ray Bishop), son Lucas Morrissey, sister Mary (Brian) daughter Kate Parkinson, brother Peter (Sheila) Richardson, her grandchildren Emma & Elizabeth Ruhl and her step father Bob Stevens.
Carol will be sorely missed by the many people whose lives were touched by her compassion and generosity. Her family will forever mourn the loss of her effervescent spirit and sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held at
Yates Funeral Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville on Saturday,
December 29 at 11:00 am.
