It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Jannette Goodhue. Carole died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 14th, 2018. She is predeceased by her husband, William Richardson Goodhue; her sister, Adele Burleigh; and her parents, Rose and Hugh Patton.
Carole will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Goodhue; stepdaughter, Joanne Goodhue; stepson, Richard Goodhue; grandchildren, Sheldon William Goodhue, Billie (Jason) Charlton, Joey Metz, Lisa (Jamie) Sinclair; and her great grandchildren.
Carole is also survived by her brother, Dale (Carol) Patton; nephews, Hugh, Terry, EGary, David, Michael and Christopher; as well as her nieces, Carole, Vickie and Shannon.
Carole very much enjoyed her career with the department of finance for Agriculture Canada, and was a long-time employee, with over 20 years of dedication. As many would know, she was a lifetime fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. She loved cooking good food, enjoying drinks, and entertaining many friends and family on the deck of her home in Regina. She also loved to reminisce about her childhood growing up on Connaught Street and visiting her mother's family farm in Bowsman, Manitoba.
Carole was always the life of the party and will be truly missed by anyone who was blessed to know and love her. There will be no service. The family will be having a small private graveside memorial at the Regina Memorial Gardens at a later date.
