Charles Oakley Eggins
January 19, 1932 to February 18, 2016
Charles “Chuck” Eggins passed away peacefully on February 18 surrounded by the love of his wife and daughters and supported by the caring staff of Arrowsmith Lodge.
Chuck was a builder and renovator extraordinaire on Vancouver Island for several decades. He was renowned for his practical solutions and wonderful sense of humour. He loved his family, friends, sailing and his dogs, and left us with many wonderful memories.
Chuck was predeceased by his brother Don and sister Blanche. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Audrey, his daughter, Ronine (Sharp), his son Victor and daughter-in-law Veronica; stepchildren Lisa, Larry, Michelle and Steve (Perrault); grandchildren Kevin, Curtis, Larry, Amanda, Nicole, Mikeal, Jack, Cassandra, Sam, Charlotte and three great grandchildren, Oliver, Fraser and Leonardo.
