Danny passed away suddenly at home on June 3, 2012. He was born in Flint, Michigan, but lived all of his life in BC, West and East Kootenays and on Vancouver Island. Danny was a logger, a cook, a miner, a salesman, a railroader, a curler, singer, accordion player, a traveler, a dad, a grandpa, a great grandpa and a loving husband. He was a good man who loved and was loved by many. He leaves his wife and partner Joan who he shared nearly 40 years of adventures with; his son and daughters Randy (Gloria), Cheryl (Gary), Lori (David) and Patti (John) and their children & grandchildren; Joan's daughters Christine (Gordon) and Barb (Eugene) and their children and grandchildren, his brothers Bob and Rod and his sisters Anne and Florence and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held July 7, 2012 at 1:30pm at the Quality Resort Bayside, 240 Dogwood Street, Parksville, to provide his family and friends with an opportunity to come together to raise a glass; share some memories and laughs & shed a tear or two.
