1930 – 2012
Del passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Calgary surrounded by family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Violet, children Dave, Michele & Ted, brother Lindo & step-sister Josephine. Del grew up in Powell River, B.C. He graduated from U of T with an Engineering Degree, then went on to a successful career in the oil industry. He retired to Parksville where he pursued his passion for nature, community & tending to his home. Del will be greatly missed by those still here – welcomed by his big brother Morino & all those who went before him.
His memorial will be held in Parksville this summer.
