Dennis Joseph Cound (Denny) passed away peacefully the morning of July 22nd at St. Michael’s Hospice in Burnaby, BC with his two sons, Chris and Adam by his side.
Originally from Montreal, he spent his younger years travelling through the U.S. and onto Vancouver and eventually ending up in Parksville, BC.
He was predeceased by his mother, Evette, father, William Cound, brothers Billy and Richard. He is survived by his brothers Frank and Bobby, and sister, Anita. Sisters-in-law, Linnea and Linda, and mother to his sons, Rachel. Nephews Shannon, Dennis, Jimmy, Michael and Peter. Nieces Mariko and Tammy.
There is just simply not enough room here to describe the crazy, creative, adventurous, heartfelt life that you lived. Thank you for teaching me to always think outside the box, Dad. Not only are you missed and loved by your family and friends, but everyone you’ve ever laughed and smiled with. Breathe comfortably.
