Survived by loving wife, Joan, their daughter Donalyn (Neil), granddaughter, Charlotte, and family from previous marriage: son Glen (Susan), daughters Susan, Colleen (Al), Lisa (Tom), grandchildren Anders, Paige and Pelle.

Don was born in Vancouver, grew up and went to school in Kerrisdale, attending Magee, then UBC. In 1957, he and brother Bob took over Bodie Collisions on Seymore Street, under the sign of the “Wobbly Wheel”, which Don managed until retirement in 1987. He and Joan moved to Qualicum Beach in 1992. Don was passionate about his golf and was known as “Sweet swinging Bodie”. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Memorial Service: Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. at St. Stephen’s United Church, Qualicum Beach
