Edward Gregory (1939-2018) died on October 1st, 2018.
Edward was blessed with a life of adventures and challenges; many with the very people, who will read this. His family, Marja, Sheny and Lara, were the center of his universe, along with his sister Betty, who was a quiet influence during his adult life. They all provided him with rewards sufficient to fill a dozen lifetimes.
Secondarily, those whom he met and knew, both in the east, the deep south, overseas, and on the island, who enriched his life immeasurably. All his life, Edward loved to hear the sound of the wind at his back, so perhaps it is fitting that he has again gone to follow it.
Please remember, "All is well, Nothing is hurt, Nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again."
Celebration of Life - Saturday, June 22 , 2019 from 2-4 pm Memorial Gardens at Qualicum Beach Legion Branch 76, 180 Veterans Way,, Qualicum Beach BC.
This day we celebrate Edward William Gregory, who was blessed with a life of adventures and challenges, many with the very people who will be joining us to celebrate him.
His family, Marja, Sheny, and Lara, were the centre of his universe, along with his sister Betty, who was a quiet influence during his adult life.
They all provided him with rewards sufficient to fill a dozen lifetimes.
Those whom he met and knew, both in the east, and deep south, overseas, and on the island, enriched his life immensely.
All his life, Edward loved to hear the sound of the wind at his back, so perhaps it is fitting that he has gone again to follow it.
We've chosen to Celebrate his Life Oceanside, in the Outdoors, in the beautiful gardens in Qualicum Beach Legion 76, at the start of Summer; as outside, in the sunshine, and on the water is where he could be found most of the time.
Please, all acquaintances and friends of the Gregory Families, we invite you to attend this celebratory party. Bring your heart, and Be with Us. You are more than welcome to bring song or words, to share with us all.
