Edward “Ted” Shepheard
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Edward “Ted” Shepheard announce his
passing on February 14, 2013 in
Port Alberni, British Columbia at the age of 72.
Left to lovingly remember and celebrate his life are wife Brenda, sons Todd and Mark and grandsons, Kevin, Garrett, and Tyler. Stepsons Jody, Jason, and Darren and grand daughters Jenna and Skylar. His brothers Gary, Greg sisters Shirley, Susan, and numerous relatives.
Ted touched more people than he could imagine with his warmth and kindness and will be missed dearly. He was an avid golfer, kayaker, supreme computer techie, and a man of many skills and talents. Ted served his country in the Canadian Armed Forces(Air Force) for 26 years with tours in Egypt, Cyprus and postings in Lahr, Germany and across Canada.
At Ted’s request, Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, February 20th from 1 to 4 pm, at the home of Mel and Darren Shepheard. The address is 2850 Peters Road, Qualicum Beach - 250-738-0235.
In lieu of flowers. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Sociey and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
