Elizabeth Ann GOFF, MB, ChB. (St Andrews)
March 1, 1940 – April 22, 2013
Liz passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH on Monday, April 22, 2013. The kindness and gentleness of the nursing staff greatly eased her passage. Born in Essex, England, she is predeceased by her parents, Julia and Trygve Andersen; brother, Emil; sister, Anna; and grandson, Matthew.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 46 years and 6 months, Malcolm; son, Andrew of Edmonton AB; estranged daughter-in-law, Ivy of Pritchard BC; son Iain and daughter-in-law Sheryl of Qualicum Beach, BC; grandchildren, April, Geoffrey, and Gregory; sister Marie Marlow of Sydney, Australia.
Liz was an anaesthetist at the Royal Inland Hospital from 1971 to 1982; an active member of C.W.L., member of The Society of Little Flower, and former member of the Social Justice Committee at the Catholic Church of the Ascension in Parksville.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Catholic Church of The Ascension, 887 Wembley Road, in Parksville on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 at 11:00 am.
