Elizabeth (Beth) May Johnston
January 24, 1924 – August 23, 2016
Elizabeth (Beth) May Johnston (nee Panchuk), 92, of Parksville BC, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away on August 23rd, 2016.
Born on January 24, 1924 on the family farm near Gorlitz Saskatchewan, she is predeceased by her husband, Ernest (Ernie) Edward Johnston. Beth is survived by her children, Brian (Linda), Alison (Wally) and David (Karen), seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Born to Oksana and Wasyl Panchuk, Beth was the third youngest of seven children, of which only the youngest, Lea Beatson of Calgary, is now living.
A private Celebration of Life will be held to
honour Beth in Parksville. In lieu of flowers, please consider honouring Beth’s memory by making a donation in her name to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 300 – 828 West 8th Avenue,
