It is will great sadness that the family announces Betty’s passing on Sunday, October 13, 2013. She leaves to mourn her husband of 62 years, Lorne; son, Denis (Velvalee) Foster of Parksville; daughter, Debbie Foster of Cloverdale; grandchildren, Branan, Brady, and Kaylee Foster; sisters, Gloria Long of Nanaimo, Eleanor (Gord) Donald of Maidstone; Verna Presley of Lloydminster and Louise (Gale) Gerbig of Lloydminster.
Betty and Lorne worked together for 22 years in the Municipal Office in Perdue, Saskatchewan. She was a proud prairie girl with strong family ties and fond memories of time spent with family and friends. Betty is well loved and will be sadly missed.
A Celebration of Life was held in Betty’s honour at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parkville.
