ELSIE DEWAR
Elizabeth Elsie Dewar passed away March 16, 2013 at Stanford Place at the age of 94. Predeceased, by her husband Sam, she is survived by her children, Sheila (Ron), Barbara (Larry), Ted (Colleen), and Ron (Debbie). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Born in England in 1918, Elsie moved to Canada at the age of 12 years. Elsie was an active member of St. Stephen’s Church since 1949, serving on many committees. She also enjoyed being a part of the walking group for many years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen’s United Church, 150 Village Way, Qualicum Beach.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen’s United Church.
