Emily Mabel Wallace

July 13, 1927 to July 16, 2014
Mabel passed away at Dover House in Nanaimo on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, Jim; daughters, Diane (Tim) Hackett of Victoria and Jeannie (Mark) Noel-Tsicouris of California; grandchildren, Emily (Richard) Noel, Ian Noel, Nick Huston, and Katie Huston; great granddaughter, Dolena (daughter of Emily and Richard); nieces, Barbara and Judy Anderson; nephew, Greg (Carol) Anderson; and many loving friends. She was predeceased by husband, Jack Noel; son, Alan Noel; brothers, Jim and Jack Anderson; and sister, Bessie Anderson.
Mabel was a bright light to everyone who met her. She was deeply loved by her family and friends. Mabel loved to garden, sew, ride her bike, knit, hook rugs, walk, and swim. Her home was always open to friends and relatives – it was a happy, social place.
Mabel’s smile lit up her beautiful face.
She is now at peace in Heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honour
at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16th at
Our Saviour Lutheran Church,
795 West Island Highway in Parksville.
