Evelyn Mary “Lyn” Inglee
(née Ruse)
July 7, 1923 – July 27, 2016
Lyn was born in the Royal Columbian Cottage Hospital on July 7, 1923 and passed away on the hot evening of July 27, 2016 in Parksville, BC.
Lyn is survived by her son, William Kenneth (Bill) Inglee of Vancouver, BC and was predeceased by her loving husband, John in 2003.
Lyn worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia in New Westminster and during the war years she worked for Westminster Tugboats as a dispatcher. After retiring with John to Viking, AB in 1981, Lyn turned her writing talents to journalism as the Viking correspondent for the local newspaper.
