Felicia Margaret MONTGOMERY
(nee Van Horne)
November 11, 1929 – February 13, 2014
Felicia, known to many as Peggy, 84, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2014, at Stanford Place in Parksville, BC.
Predeceased by her husband Roy, she is survived by brother, Gerry, sisters Ruth, Noël, and Rosemary, step-children, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Known for her enthusiastic and genuinely fun-loving personality, Felicia (Peggy) was well loved by family and friends. She will be remembered for her many years working at Parksville Hardware and for her service with the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as her support of Coombs Bluegrass events. As the family genealogist, she stalwartly promoted a sense of family unity and cohesiveness through celebrations and reunions.
Viewing will be available on February 19th and 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Yates Funeral
Chapel,1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
A Memorial Service is planned for 2:00 pm on Monday, February 24 at Yates Funeral Chapel.
