In Loving Memory ~
Florence Perry peacefully slipped away from us on Feb. 27, 2024.
Florence was pre-deceased by her parents, John & Evelyn Glebe, husband Gordon and siblings Harvey, Johnny and Ruby.
She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving sister, May Tokke, many cousins and various nieces and nephews on the mainland.
Born in Edmonton, Florence trained as a nurse, settling in Vancouver where she met and married the love of her life, Gordon Perry.
Florence was selfless and equitable, always going out of her way to help and support others. A loyal friend, devoted daughter, loving sister and special aunty. She was generous, kind, loved to laugh and created community wherever she went.
Truly a renaissance woman, she cooked & baked, sewed, crafted and could build anything. As a young married couple, she and Gordon built a boat together and enjoyed sailing it in and around Horseshoe Bay. Later, they helped to build their retirement home in Qualicum Beach.
Many thanks to Yun who provided loving care to her in her last years while at the Gardens at Qualicum Beach care facility.
Florence - The Chrysler is gassed up, Gordon is there with Muffy and Grandma is in her spot in the back seat. They have been waiting for you for a while now, and happy you are together once again.
