Trevor was born on May 5, 1925 in the Village of Havelock, ON and passed away at home on March 10, 2011. Predeceased by his loving wife Marguerite in 2001 and brother Keith, he is survived by his sisters; Irene of Lakefield, ON and Noreen-Adele (Bill) of Norwood, ON and brothers; Bruce (Janet) of Trent River, ON and Claude of Norwood, ON. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Trevor enjoyed hunting, fishing and was passionate about his garden. He was extremely generous in sharing everything he grew or was fortunate to catch. Trevor worked for the CPR for over 35 years and was involved with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers as president. He also served for two years in the Merchant Marines. He was a long time member (56 yrs) with the Royal Canadian Legion. Trevor will be missed by all who knew him.

In memory of Trevor, donations to the Heart House, 1580 Pembroke St Victoria, BC V8R 1N2 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 107 – 1001 Cloverdale Ave Victoria, BC V8X 4C9 would be appreciated. A service was held on March 17, 2011 at Yates Funeral Chapel, Parksville, BC.
