Freda Palmer
June 29, 1936 to January 10, 2014
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Freda Palmer on January 10, 2014. Freda is survived by her husband Doug, who were married for 59 years, sons Craig (Wanda) and Brett (Grazina) and grandchildren Sean, Blair, Jeffrey, Alexandra, Sarah, Sydney and predeceased by her daughter Colleen. Freda is also survived by her brothers Roy (Verna) and Daryl.
Freda grew up in the Vancouver area, where she married Doug and their 3 children were born. Soon after they moved to Penticton for 15 years, then moved to Calgary for 13 years, and settled in Parksville for the remainder of her life. Freda made many good friends in Parksville and will be missed by all. Freda loved people and people loved her. Freda was a loving wife and loved her family unconditionally and we all will miss her very much. Goodnight Freda, sleep well.
