G. Merv Lloyd, born Unity Saskatchewan, April 21st 1938, died suddenly at Victoria General Hospital on January 9th, 2011. Loved and missed by his wife of 49 years, Maureen, daughters Jennifer, Cynthia Stewart (Tom), Derek (Elizabeth) and grandchildren Olivia, Blake & Claire. Merv retired from a 40 year career of senior management in financial services in London Ontario in 2003 to Qualicum Beach where he was active on the golf course at Eaglecrest, in Qualicum Beach Rotary and Oceanside Hospice. No flowers by request, but Merv would have appreciated donations to Oceanside Hospice (www.oceansidehospice.org / 250.752.6227) or Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach (Box 92, Qualicum Beach, V9K 1S7).
Merv's friends and associates are welcome to drop in at Eaglecrest Golf and Country Club (2035 Island Highway, Qualicum Beach) on Saturday January 15th, anytime between 2-5pm for informal commemoration
of Merv's life.
