Helen was predeceased by her father, Wallace, mother, Lillian, sisters Dolores, husband Murray and half brother Wayne.
She is survived by children, Lynne, Gordon, John (Maggie), Judy (Craig) and Sylvia; step children
Charlotte (Gregor), Charles, Carl (Rhoda), and Nelson (Irene); brother Norman and sister Catherine;
half-sister Charlotte (Stanley); 20 grandchildren and 16 plus great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Centreville, New Brunswick. She graduated from Fredericton High School and Modern Business College in Saint John N.B.
Helen joined the CWAC in WW2 and was stationed with the RCOC in Saint John N.B.
Her last 32 years have been spent in Qualicum Beach where she has been a dedicated legionnaire. She was a past president, life member and many times Sgt-at-Arms of the Ladies Auxiliary to RCL Br. 76 and acted as Liaison between the L.A. and RCL Br. 76. She was a past membership chairman of the RCL Br. 76.
She will be missed by all who knew her, especially her loving companion and dancing partner of many years, Stanley Woodhall.
Her passion was flowers, sewing, reading and crocheting.
