Jul 4, 1925 - May 25, 2018
It is with sad hearts that we share that Betty in her 92nd year will be peacefully resting in her heavenly home. Betty was predeceased by her loving husband George Neely Moore in 1998.

Betty is survived by 4 children, John (Terry) Moore, Judie (Tokue) Suda, Gene (Dave) Button and George (Cindy) Moore and brother Murray Macpherson. Betty will be deeply missed by her 8 grandchildren, Ian, Sara, Kimi, Jil, Danny, Patrick, Matt and Jessica. Betty's 6 great- grandchildren, Kai, Aya, Ryder, Reece, Benjamin and Quinn will certainly miss not getting to know her better.

Betty will be lovingly remembered for her vibrance, artistic abilities, kindness and interest she showed to all she met along her life journey. She was a world traveller, both in the numerous locations she resided and countries she visited. Betty had a love for oil painting early on, and later china painting became her passion. She was a gifted china painting instructor to many in the Fraser Valley. Betty was a great animal lover and had many dogs over the years, who were lucky to have led such pampered lives.

Betty will be remembered by her immediate family at an interment of her ashes in the Boal Memorial Gardens Wall in North Vancouver. She will be peacefully resting beside Neely, her husband of 54 years.

Thanks go to all the staff of 1 West, Menno Home in Abbotsford for the great care and friendships she cherished for the past 4 years.

Should you wish to make a donation in honour of Betty, please send it to Menno Home, 32910 Brundige Avenue, Abbotsford, BC V2S 1N2
