Scheffler, Gottlieb (Gus)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Gottlieb (Gus) Scheffler, on February 2nd, 2007, in his 71st year at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Qualicum Beach and his sister, Sieglinde Hartmeyer of Recklinghausen, Germany. He also leaves behind his children: Anita Hillis (Peter) of St. George, Ontario, Ted (Carol) of Powell River, Brian (Shelly) of Bowmanville, Ontario, Krista Lefebvre (Peter) of Kitchener, Ontario and Eric (Janet) of Waterloo, Ontario. Also his grandchildren: Joshua, Jared (Isabella), Jonathan and Andrew Hillis, Jennifer, Stephanie and Christopher Lefebvre, Ehren, Robin and Connor Scheffler, Katarina and Lucas Scheffler, Alexander, William and Jack Scheffler, as well as one great-granddaughter, Madisen Cerelli-Hillis.
Predeceased by his parents, Leokadia and Theodor, and brothers, Reinhold and Otto.
